About Deliverain

Building the intelligence
layer for India's grid.

Deliverain Research & Solutions is India's only OT-native industrial software company building a vendor-agnostic Industrial Intelligence Platform for the Energy and Utilities sector — from substation to plant floor.

India's grid runs on foreign software.
That ends here.

India's power sector is undergoing the most significant transformation in its history. 500 GW of renewable capacity by 2030. ₹9.1 trillion in T&D capex. Every substation being upgraded. Every DISCOM being modernised. Every plant being digitised.

And yet, the software running this transformation is almost entirely foreign — built for Western grid architectures, priced in dollars, and hosted on servers outside India. They don't understand IEC 61850 in Indian brownfield environments. They don't meet CERT-In requirements. They weren't designed for the way India's grid actually works.

Deliverain was built to change that. We are a Bengaluru-based company with deep roots in OT engineering — not IT repurposed for OT. Our platform is live in production at GE Vernova, JSW Steel, and ITC, handling the protocols, the regulations, and the operational complexity that foreign platforms struggle with.

Context

Why this moment matters.

Three forces are converging in India's energy sector simultaneously — creating a window that is open now and will narrow as global OEMs adapt and consolidate.

01
The renewable grid crisis
India added 24.5 GW of solar in 2024 alone. Every new renewable asset is a new data management and grid stability problem. The software infrastructure doesn't exist yet. The window to build it is the next 2–3 years.
Window open now
02
The CERT-In mandate
India's April 2022 CERT-In directive mandates 6-hour OT incident reporting and 180-day log retention across all critical infrastructure. Utilities are actively looking for compliant solutions right now — not in 3 years.
Active compliance deadline
03
The indigenous software window
Government procurement preference for Indian-developed software is real and active in decisions today. In 3–5 years, global OEMs will build India-resident versions or acquire Indian companies. The indigenous advantage is finite.
2–3 year window
All three forces are active simultaneously — right now.
The category winner in Indian industrial intelligence will be decided in the next 24–36 months. Deliverain is the only Indian OT-native platform with live deployments, CERT-In compliance, and an institutional partner to scale with.

What we believe.

OT-first, always
We are not an IT company that decided to do OT. We were built from the ground up for operational technology environments — brownfield assets, proprietary protocols, and zero tolerance for downtime.
India-native by design
Indian regulatory requirements, Indian data sovereignty, Indian grid architecture. Not adapted from a Western product — built for how India's power sector actually operates.
Vendor-agnostic, always
We don't sell hardware. We don't have OEM dependencies. Our value comes from connecting whatever assets our customers already have — not from replacing them.
Data sovereignty matters
India's critical infrastructure data should stay in India. Air-gap compatible, India-resident, and never dependent on a foreign cloud provider's availability or policy changes.
Security is not optional
OT cybersecurity is a national security issue, not a product feature. SentinelLog was built because CERT-In compliance deserved a dedicated platform — not a checkbox on a sales sheet.
Compounding by design
Each version of the platform makes the next version more valuable. The dataset we build in V1 powers the AI in V3. The relationships we build today create the fleet intelligence of tomorrow.

Let's build India's grid intelligence together.

Whether you're a utility, an OEM, or a consulting firm — we'd like to show you what's possible.
